Job Description
* Processing Accounts Payable invoices
* Ensuring the approval process is being followed
* Allocating daily banking against client invoices
* Managing the Accounts Receivable mailbox: responding to queries etc
* Approving expenses, credit card transactions & travel bookings in line with policies
* Reviewing expenses ensuring GL coding & VAT treatment is correct
* Daily bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
* Support with month-end reporting
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Previous exposure in a similar role.
* A strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
* Adept at using financial software and MS Office tools.
* Excellent numeric skills with attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
