Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Global Agrochemical Company
Contract: 6 months
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £14.80 per hour
Working pattern: 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH
SRG are working with a global Agrochemical company that are seeking a Administrative Assistant to join their busy team. They are looking for an experienced candidate with at least 2 years industrial experience.
You will perform a variety of administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, composing memos, transcribing notes, and researching and creating presentations. You will generate reports, handle multiple projects, and prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports. You may assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide an effective PA, secretarial and administrative service to the Manufacturing Plants and Huddersfield Site.
* Support for Plant Task Force Meetings, Inquiries & Engineering Meetings, Q Pulse Administrator - Quality Database Cover, and Occupational Health Admin Personnel.
* Arrange meetings and events for Site personnel, involving internal, inter-site and external attendees, and provide support for these meetings as required.
* Responsible for the general tidiness and facilities.
* Joint responsibility for arranging large events (e.g., Strategy Events on site) and business meetings, including booking venues, transport, and catering, while keeping accurate records and adhering to departmental standards.
* Keeps accurate records of all Site vehicles, ensuring insurance records are up-to-date.
* Raise accurate purchase orders and BACs requests for stationery, sponsorships, donations, and other supplies on request, being aware of relevant information needed to create orders successfully.
* 3 years' experience within a multi-disciplined office environment.
* 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially detailed knowledge of Outlook.
* Dealing successfully with a diverse range of people, both internally and externally.
* Meeting and events coordination and arrangements.
* Familiarity with purchasing processes and systems.
* Experience with SAP would be desirable.
* Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure, and prioritize a diverse workload.
* A team player, but also self-motivated and able to work independently.
