Job title: Assistant Town Planner

An exciting role has opened in London with a well-known planning consultancy who are looking to appoint an Assistant Town Planner within their team.
My client covers a wide range of projects across the region from EIA Planning, Infrastructure based projects and socio-economics.
Your roles and responsibilities would be the following:
1. Supporting the team in the delivery of a variety of planning projects including assisting with all aspects of advice, planning applications and appeals.
2. Researching and analysing planning policy and decisions, preparing representations to emerging policy and local plans.
3. Drafting reports, advice notes, planning statements and pre-application letters.
4. Preparing and submitting applications on the planning portal and monitoring applications.
5. Attending meetings and taking minutes.
I'm looking for candidates to have the relevant experience:
1. Degree within Town Planning where you can apply for RTPI charteredship.
2. Positive, hard-working attitude.
3. Enjoys responsibility and integrating/collaborating with other teams.
4. Understanding of the UK planning system.
5. Relevant work experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
