DescriptionTo lead AirTankers Commercial Management activities with its Customers, representing AirTankers commercial interests to maximize profitability and minimize commercial risk whilst maintaining a positive and collaborative customer relationship. To provide Commercial expertise and support to assigned business area. Responsible for line management of Commercial Team members who support assigned business area. Working closely with relevant enabling function and Business Stream Heads e.g. the Head of Flight Operations, Head of Ground Operations, Director of Engineering & Maintenance, Head of Voyager Training Service, Head of Major Programmes, Head of Sales, Head of Voyager Capability Development, Head of Supply Chain.Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for defining and delivering the commercial strategy for assigned business area.
* Provide contractual interpretation on complex issues across the entirety of AirTankers contract document set.
* Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with external Customers/PSCs, internal customers/colleagues and wider stakeholders
* Exercise governance over AirTankers contractual arrangements, approving and executing agreements in accordance with company delegated authorities.
* Act as line manager for assigned Commercial Management staff, setting objectives to support delivery of AirTankers business objectives and managing staff performance.
* Provide support to the AirTanker Executive Leadership and Senior Management teams on a wide range of commercial and contractual matters.

* Extensive experience across all commercial fundamentals: drafting and interpreting complex contracts without legal support, leading win business campaigns, negotiation of complex high-value contracts and maximising value through robust contract management.
* Significant experience of leading dispute management to successful conclusion.
* Substantial experience of leading teams to deliver the required outcomes.
* Significant experience of requesting and interpreting external legal advice;
* Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
* Demonstrated experience of operating at a senior level.
