As our new Credit Controller, you will be working as part of a dynamic European finance team, responsible for managing overdue accounts through to completion, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries, following the company’s credit collection policies and procedures.
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
1. Collection of overdue accounts – managing an individual sales ledger
2. Updating client ledgers
3. Ensuring timely payment of debts
4. Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of Invoices in a timely manner
5. Liaising with internal departments
6. Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances and ensure accounts are reconciled accurately
7. Processing card payments
8. Implementing changes in the company’s credit control system
Requirements for Success:
9. Minimum 3 years of experience with Credit Control
10. Good IT skills including all MS office products, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
11. Good analytical skills with the ability to adapt to new IT packages.
12. Excellent listening, written and verbal communications (proficient English)
13. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
14. Structured with good time management skills and committed to achieving targets.
15. A genuine interest in working with and helping customers.
16. Experience with ERP systems / Netsuite
17. Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
