Opportunity for a Graduate Chemist to work in the laboratory of an established independent business that will allow you scope to develop your skills.

What you will be doing:
* Research and development of products
* Creating batches of products as necessary
* Quality control
* Working within established procedures
* Observing health and safety standards and ensuring you contribute to a safe place of work
* Ensuring product quality is maintained to the highest standard
* Provide feedback and report all findings clearly and precisely
* Liaise with customers as required regarding requirements
* Have discussions with suppliers as necessary
* Assist in ensuring all required paperwork is completed and made available for the required departments
What you will need:
* A degree-level qualification in a scientific subject such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, etc.
* Industry experience in a laboratory setting is desirable
* Good basic wet chemistry skills
What you will receive:
A salary of £24,000-£26,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, potential annual bonus, 23 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays (increasing to 25 days over time).
The hours of work are either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
