Job Title: Site Delivery Lead - Civils Location: Based in Suffolk with hybrid working available. Overview: Reporting to the Site Delivery Director, this role supports the full life cycle delivery of a section of the Site Delivery footprint, including Capital Works delivery and Principal Contractor responsibilities. You will lead/manage a group of Senior Managers, overseeing Enabling works, Major Civils, Networks, and Buildings. The role involves managing a matrix team of wider disciplines forming the project Area Management Delivery team. Key Duties: Define cross-programme interfaces with wider programmes and alliances. Secure required resources and maintain SQEP for assigned resources. Provide direction to teams for effective execution of strategies and plans. Maintain effective communications with stakeholders and execute project strategies. Drive contract or package activities to ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery. Monitor and manage programme progress, track milestones, deadlines, and budget. Identify risks, resolve issues, and propose updates to the programme/budget. Ensure schedule consistency within the overall Project schedule. Deliver the List of Deliverables (LOD) related to the scope of work. Apply Continuous Improvement principles. Fulfill Principal Contractor responsibilities in line with statutory legislation and CDM strategy. Ensure best-for-project decisions and practice lessons-learnt and knowledge-capture. Interface with other programmes to adopt best practices. Fulfill contractual requirements and maintain effective working relationships. Requirements: Track record of delivering projects in complex, dynamic environments with high safety, security, and environmental standards, within the Nuclear Energy sector. Success in managing engineering design, contract and field execution strategies, multi-discipline EPCM projects, procurement, cost control, risk management, and commercial claims. Experience in Nuclear New Build or Heavy Civil Engineering, reinforced concrete structures, formwork, falsework, high-integrity concrete, and nuclear safety culture. Strong management skills, including project management, financial management, change management, and facilitation. Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors in large, complex construction projects. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and facilitation skills. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Detailed understanding of EPR design and experience. Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering / Construction Management (or equivalent). Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Fellow (ICE, IStructE, CIOB) preferred. Knowledge and/or practitioner of Project Management with experience in APM body of knowledge and OGC's Prince 2. Experience managing projects from concept to handover. Understanding of nuclear quality assurance and control
