Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring, self-motivated individual to join Bolton NHS Foundation Trust's Digital Team as Senior Project Manager on a fixed term basis.
The team is composed of staff from various disciplines and backgrounds, and you will be expected to hit the ground running, working collaboratively with them and clinical colleagues to lead the delivery of key projects within the Digital Programme.
Main duties of the job
The demands and scale of the projects you will work on will vary, but we will look to you to utilize the following: experience of delivering large scale change; skills to manage competing demands; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities; response to short deadlines; effective communication to all stakeholders; flexibility to take on all tasks within a project; and your ability to quickly build strong working relationships.
You will work across health and care settings to deliver digital transformation to patients, clinicians, and support functions. You will manage projects and seek opportunities to deliver benefits to our staff and thrive on the diversity of work. Your tasks may include presenting to project boards, briefing groups, facilitating process mapping workshops, drawing process maps, preparing business cases, defining project scope, developing project plans, completing project documentation, and producing highlight reports.

Experience
* Experience of a project management role within a customer-focused organisation.
* Experience of successfully managing projects within a programme management system, including evidence of change management within timeframes and budget.
* Experience of policy and strategy development and how these impact across the organisation.
* Evidence of experience within an NHS environment.
* Experience of working within an Informatics environment.
* Experience of implementing changes to working methods and evaluating effectiveness.
* Experience of resource management, including staff and information resources.
Qualifications
* PRINCE2 Foundation
* Educated to relevant degree level in Health Informatics, IT, or a related subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
* Change Management Foundation
* Business Analysis Foundation
* MSP Foundation
