This position is based on-site at our facility in Edinburgh, Scotland Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored for audio and video conferencing solutions. Design advanced, customer-focused test scenarios to emulate complex real-world usage accurately and identify customer-impacting defects. Utilize state-of-the-art tools and methodologies in our dynamic lab environment to conduct thorough testing and validation processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to align testing with product requirements and enhance product development and performance. Execute manual and automated testing, conduct in-depth functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product robustness and reliability. Validate hardware and software interoperability within communication solutions, ensuring optimal performance and audio quality. Identify, document, and prioritize defects, collaborating closely with development teams to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve critical issues. Demonstrate technical leadership throughout testing projects to achieve exceptional outcomes within set timelines and maintain a results-driven approach. Communicate complex technical concepts and strategies to team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader objectives. Ensure the proper performance and interoperability of MicroFlex products, including tests for RF stability, battery life, and audio clarity across various networks conditions. Incorporate customer feedback and usage trends into strategic test design, engaging in customer support to continuously improve quality. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in quality engineering, system testing, or a related technical field. Extensive experience in designing and implementing customer-focused test scenarios Proven capability in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies in a product-oriented environment. Proficiency in manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Advanced knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking systems. Technical leadership skills, including project management and the ability to drive quality initiatives within set timelines and allocating resources. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve critical issues in collaboration with development teams. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
