Who we’re looking for
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Star Talent Platform Manager to optimise, manage, and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and Talent/Performance system within the Cornerstone platform. This is a pivotal role that will drive the implementation, adoption and efficient use of the LXP and Talent/Performance Marketplace across the Trust. You will be responsible for curating high-quality learning content, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring the platform supports learning, development, and performance management initiatives aligned with Star Academies business and talent development objectives.
You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor for the Talent Platform, collaborating with central departments and schools to ensure seamless integration and maximise platform usage.You will be responsible for the overseeing the configuration of talent management processes and workflows, managing system upgrades and evaluating new platform functionality.Your focus will be on optimising user experience, increasing engagement, and supporting career development initiatives by developing data-driven strategies and content solutions. The position requires an individual who has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You will have:
• Experience of managing LXPs, or Talent Management Systems (i.e. Cornerstone, SAP, etc.) particularly in the context of multi-site or large organisations.
• Experience of driving adoption of new systems and platforms through change management strategies, communication, and training.
• The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the LXP aligns with the trust’s professional growth and talent development strategies.
• A strong understanding of data analytics and reporting, using platform insights to guide decision-making and improve learning outcomes.
• Knowledge and understanding of learning trends and how to implement them effectively within the platform.
• A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and a passion for using technology to drive employee growth and career development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
