The Role The Customer Remediation Team (CRT) provides oversight of all Notifiable Risk Events that fall within the remit of Prudential Assurance Company Ltd (PAC). This involves working with suppliers and M&G Business Areas (BAs) to understand the volume, materiality and the impact (across customer, regulatory and financial) of Notifiable Risk Events. The main objectives of CRT are to ensure Events are resolved quickly and effectively whilst safeguarding the best interests of M&G customers and providing assurance to Senior Management in M&G that Events are being dealt with appropriately. This role presents a great opportunity to build extensive knowledge on our wide range of our product offerings, working alongside talented individuals, and is a great place to work to support your career development. What will you be doing? The apprentice will support the team to achieve its main objectives and learn about the life cycle and resolution of Notifiable Risk Events. As a Customer Remediation apprentice, your tasks will include: Attending Notifiable Risk Event project calls and supporting the team Developing knowledge of M&G Notifiable Risk Events Standards and ensuring consistency over how these are applied within the company Working with internal stakeholders to discuss progress of Notifiable Risk Events and helping to resolve any challenges. Support the business strategy of the team Receive training on our product offerings and why these are important to customers Engage with many different stakeholders across M&G and our suppliers Learn about regulatory expectations and will gain insight to the role of the regulator Exposure to a number of different tasks such as report writing, interpreting data and management information and involved in process improvement What will I need to be successful in this role? Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders with ease. Ability to manage processes and coordinating with different people. Strong customer service awareness. Empathy and good listening skills. Efficient, proactive, structured approach to work and very well organized. High level of accuracy and good attention to detail. Can effectively manage day to day work, alongside apprenticeship qualification. Moderate understanding of the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A proactive team player who is confident about working with others but also independently and can promptly escalate any issue and work remotely where required. Logical and analytical approach coupled with intelligence, passion, and a drive to learn. Minimum Requirements Available to start the apprenticeship programme in September 2025 You must not be enrolled into another further education programme at the beginning of the programme Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK Living in Scotland Pass in Five National 5s including English and Maths Minimum of Grade C in Two Highers or equivalent Training Provided As a Customer Remediation Apprentice with M&G, you will undertake the Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses Future Prospects This is a fixed term contract for 18 - 23 months upon which the business may decide to retain, subject to the Apprentice performance, headcount, and available funding. If recruited into a permanent role, the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department.
