Job summary
The discharge Lounge is located on the lower level of Lincoln county hospital.
The department can hold 18 patients at any one time with a high turnover throughout the day. .
We care for patient from all ethnicities and social are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic ward clerk to join us. You will be well supported and welcomed into our friendly, family feel team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Ward Clerk to work full time hours.
The Ward Clerk duties will include: communicating will all visitors to the ward and patients, answering the telephone, updating Careflow (computer system) with all admissions / discharges. Ensuring all medical notes and current inpatient notes are filed correctly, oversee ordering and ensuring stationary stock is well maintained.
The above list is not exhaustive as you will also be expected to support with the collection of data that is completed on a monthly basis. This data is specific to the ward.
We are therefore looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills to be a friendly welcome for our patients and their loved ones. You must possess excellent customer service skills.
