Job overview
Come and join our friendly dynamic Training Team. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working person in our fast-paced Education Department as a training administrator, based in Chertsey, with occasional travel to other Surrey Trust sites including Leatherhead & Epsom. There is also the potential to work from home 1 day a week.
You will receive training to undertake a variety of duties utilizing your experience in all aspects of administration and technical capabilities to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Education Department.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first line of communication in the department, in respect of queries relating to statutory and mandatory training, including our monthly Corporate Induction. You will provide administrative support to the Training Team and at times the wider Education & Development team. These duties include course administration, training room set up, supporting the trainers with the equipment on the day and dealing with enquiries regarding face to face, virtual and online training.

* Responsible for the day to day running and hosting at our Two Bridges Training Venue in Chertsey.
* Use of our Totara Learning Management System or similar software to build and manage statutory and mandatory courses and other essential courses led by the Education department.
* Ensure that the OMMT, AcademyHub and Training Admin email account is monitored, and emails actioned and responded to appropriately in a timely manner.
Person specification
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* NVQ Level 3, RSA Level 3 or equivalent.
* 2 years’ experience of administrative work.
Experience
* Experience of working in a busy office environment with conflicting priorities.
* Good IT skills to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications – especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* Experience of the day to day running and hosting of a training venue.
* Experience of using the Totara Learning Management System or similar software.
* Familiarity with NHS processes, particularly in relation to training compliance.
