Job Responsibilities: Working as part of a highly collaborative and successful Control Management team, in partnership with stakeholders, you will: Work closely with the business teams, getting first-hand insight into challenges faced by the business as they design and build products that will support our innovation strategy Lead the development of creative and innovative solutions to manage risks, ensuring that controls are properly designed and operating effectively Act as independent advisor and thought leader, collaborating effectively with our support partners to achieve a strong control framework Evaluate and perform ongoing analysis of the business’ operational risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses, determine root cause of control deficiencies and implement appropriate controls Provide support to ongoing business-related control programs and strategies (e.g., New Business Initiatives, change management, metrics development and reporting, control evaluation, issue management) Provide control committee governance support, including development of committee materials, minutes, and committee reporting. Required Capabilities, Skills, and Qualifications: Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; solid critical thinking in technical scenarios Ability to synthesize information and formulate creative and innovative solutions to complex problems Attention to detail and strong time management, project management and collaboration skills to drive initiatives forward Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner Able to work effectively in agile environments, adaptable to shifting priorities and delivering value whilst dealing with high degrees of uncertainty and continuous change Strong stakeholder management skills - you are someone who is collaborative and can build meaningful professional relationships Experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
