This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team supporting people with enduring mental health needs, who are living within the community, to develop and live the life they choose.
Please be advised that we are unable to offer sponsorship through the Skilled Worker VISA route as part of your application.
This is an interesting and varied role, which would suit a confident, self-motivated person who enjoys meeting people and can use their initiative to identify and capitalise on opportunities for development.
The role can involve supporting people to manage a tenancy, develop strategies and resilience to manage their own mental health, developing independent living skills, budgeting, support to manage relationships and much, much more.
To be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we support is essential. Support hours may include some evenings and weekends and lone working will also be a requirement of the role, so being self-motivated and able to use your initiative is crucial.
If you -
* Are able to be person centred in your approach, encouraging, inspiring and have the ability to think creatively.
* Have excellent active listening and communication skills and are able to adapt your skills and knowledge to the needs of the people you’d support.
* Are flexible, proactive and passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals.
* Hold a current driving license and are able to use your own car for work.
We want to hear from you!
