Warehouse Operative Tier 3 The Role: After training, be able to work efficiently and effectively in all areas of the our LED Lighting warehouse based in Calverton, Nottinghamshire to meet departmental targets. Main Job Responsibilities: Fork lift and Flexi / Bendi operations only with the relevant full valid license Loading and unloading of containers/Lorries/vans etc on and off site To use appropriate mechanical handling aids once full training has been received Accurately record all collections and deliveries Store goods and materials on open pallet racking within the warehouse in a safe way Security of load Adhere to supplier delivery manuals Follow safe working practices on all machines within the business Responsible for product checking and quality inspection Accurately following any written and verbal instructions relevant to the task in hand Receiving and identifying products Picking and packing orders accurately to requirements to agreed KPI’s Ensuring correct choice of packaging is used Creating accurate documentation where necessary Ensuring correct labelling and security sealing Dispatch of UK and International packages Ensuring a high quality is maintained at all times for our products Attend company stock checks as required Attend company meetings as and when required Maintain a clean and safe working environment Check to ensure equipment used is maintained properly Security of the site Measure and accurately record product specifications Investigate any delivery shortage or damaged goods Sign for and log deliveries Any other warehouse duties as required Requirements: Valid and current FLT / bendi license is required.
