MAIN PURPOSE: To work as a key member of the Brain Injury Linkworker Service clinical team, providing clinical psychology and neuropsychological supervision to the Brain Injury Linkworkers, who deliver neurorehabilitation to people in prison and on probation. To be involved in maintaining and developing service delivery protocols. To assist in the ongoing evaluation of the service and any other relevant research projects. To provide specialist neuropsychological expertise and oversight to all aspects of the service. To provide Brain Injury Awareness training to people working across the criminal justice system, adapting training resources as required. To be involved in promotion of the service presenting at events and conferences. To write articles for publication and develop new research ideas. To support the consultant clinical neuropsychologist and project manager in the development of new BIL services. To provide strategic, professional leadership to the multi/inter disciplinary team within the Social Change and Policy Team, Brainkind, ensuring the planning and development of a systematic response to service need. To interpret professional policies, ensuring that the services operate at the highest level of quality and current best practice. Research and development will be a major responsibility as will taking a major role in the development and implementation of policy for the service system as a whole. To provide clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on all issues concerned with neuropsychological clinical practice and providing expert clinical consultation and professional guidance to clinical neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists and other clinicians within Brainkind. To provide clinical leadership and direction for the Brain Injury Linkworker service.
