What is the perfect Omaze house?… We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our growing analytics team to help answer exactly these kinds of questions, and ultimately help Omaze grow into one of the world’s biggest charity donors. At Omaze, analysts are key contributors to strategic thinking. Their deep dives and discovery work inform which opportunities and initiatives should be prioritised, and their impact is measured in the movement of key business metrics – not in the number of dashboards built or Jira tickets marked as ‘Done’. What you’ll do: Be the right-hand-person of the VP of Product & Tech, ensuring that they have an intuitive understanding of product performance, and that the decisions the team makes are data driven Dig into unstructured data to find insights about our customer base, developing our understanding of customer behaviour and their needs Use these insights to size and scope AB / multivariate tests and experiments throughout our user base Analyse the outcomes of these tests to iterate, and input into our product strategy Work alongside data / analytics engineering to ensure that underlying data is modelled in the most appropriate way, and build out appropriate reporting to show the impact of product work and initiatives Our ideal candidate has: 4 years of product analytics experience at a high growth company Demonstrable experience of impacting a product roadmap through the production of actionable insights, and an ability to present work effectively to non-data colleagues An ability to break down a high level problem into constituent parts, and a curiosity to dig deep into problems that others might be ignoring Fluency in SQL, and the ability to query and transform large volumes (billions of rows) of data (we use Snowflake) Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker, and the ability to create highly accessible, digestible visualisations and dashboards Working knowledge of ELT / data modelling tools such as dbt is a bonus What to Expect: Competitive salary and benefits package including (amongst other perks) attractive equity package, comprehensive private health insurance and generous employer pension contributions.
