They specialise in the fabrication and welding of steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications, providing high-quality products to a range of industries. Job Description: As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for the manufacture of steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications to meet precise specifications. You will need to evaluate and interpret technical sketches and data, conduct dimensional inspections prior to welding, and ensure all work is carried out within exact tolerances. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MIG/TIG welding on steel and will be committed to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture and fabricate steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications. Review and interpret technical sketches, drawings, and other data to prepare materials for fabrication. Conduct dimensional inspections of components before welding to ensure accuracy. Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel to the highest standards. Ensure all work is carried out within strict tolerances and meets quality requirements. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols. Essential Skills & Requirements: Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a similar role, with expertise in MIG and TIG welding on steel. Strong understanding of technical drawings, sketches, and data interpretation. Ability to work to precise tolerances and quality standards. Familiarity with conducting dimensional inspections. Must bring your own welding mask for the weld test. Safety boots/shoes must be worn within the factory at all times. A weld test will be conducted as part of the interview process (please come prepared). Shifts available: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 hrs & Friday 06:00 to 12:00 hrs. Pay Range: 6-2 shift rate £14.29 to £19.13 per hour Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 22:00 hrs & Friday 12:00 to 18:00 hrs. Pay Range: 2-10 shift rate £15.88 to £21.25 per hour Sunday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00 hrs. Pay Range: 22:00 -06:00 shift £16.89 to £22.61 per hour Why Apply?
