We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to join our team and lead our complex care unit. Role Overview: As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of our complex care unit. You will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered care to our patients. This is a supernumerary role, allowing you to focus on leadership, staff development, and service quality without being included in the unit's regular staffing numbers. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with complex needs. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards. • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing and care staff. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. • Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery. • Conduct staff appraisals, training, and development to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce. Requirements: • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN. • Proven experience in a leadership role within a complex care setting. • Strong clinical skills with a thorough understanding of complex care needs. • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions. • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
