TPF Recruitment, Surrey's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, are currently supporting an excellent firm of accountants.
Here there is a great opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper to work for a top accountancy practice based in the Farnham area. This role would best suit an experienced bookkeeper looking for either a part-time or full-time role.
You'll be required to be client facing and manage the bookkeeping team, as well as complete transactional work as necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
* management of a portfolio of clients' day to day bookkeeping
* managing and mentoring junior bookkeepers as required
* ad hoc visits to clients, and regular contact via email, phone etc
Requirements
This role is best suited to an experienced bookkeeper who has worked within an accountancy practice. You must have 2-3 years' experience within accountancy practice to be considered for this role.
Experience using Xero is only essential, and Xero certification is appreciated.
Softer skills required include a 'can do' attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing great client care.
