An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Lending Specialist to join a growing and exciting Commercial Lending Team. If you have in-depth commercial mortgage knowledge, high value/complex case ownership experience and want a role where you are empowered to utilise your problem-solving skills and provide coaching to colleagues, then this could be your chance to do just that.
About the role
As Lead Lending Specialist, you will be a subject matter expert and be responsible for managing a loan application to completion. You will build and maintain excellent relationships with our panel valuers, brokers partners, underwriting colleagues and Lending Managers - providing effective stakeholder engagement.
You will provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues, empowering them to be the best they can be and helping them deliver timely and secure mortgage completions and a great experience to our customers and brokers.
Away from this, you will also maximise operational efficiencies by continually challenging the processes within the department to drive better customer and colleague experiences.
About you
This is a role where you’ll need extensive mortgage, coaching and case management experience along with:
* The ability to manage complex/high value transactions to completion.
* Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
* Challenge existing processes with solutions to constantly improve customer, broker & colleague experience.
* Deliver change activity to ensure positive customer and broker impact.
* Support with the delivery of strategic plans in alignment with Commercial Lending to deliver the Corporate plan.
* Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to deliver against objectives, with proactive stakeholder management.
* Support the delivery of performance that is in line with service level agreements.
* Identify opportunities to expand and deepen the customer relationship.
* Deliver customer service excellence at all customer and broker touchpoints.
* Consistently deliver against all customer service metrics.
* Adhere to customer focused ways of working to deliver all aspects of loan onboarding.
