KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY Support the Commercial team by providing in depth research and insight to develop new commercial partnerships. Help to identify new partnership prospects and opportunities by researching targeted industries, companies and consumer trends. Produce reports, prioritising prospects to an agreed criterion, including insights that the sales team can action to maximise appointment generation and significantly scale the commercial pipeline. Use analytical skills to spot market trends and brief colleagues on information collected. Use fan and audience data to help tailor and enrich partnership proposals and play a key role in producing sales collateral and pitches. Hold and update the key fan and audience data sales points required across all sales collateral to ensure it is always up to date. Be the internal conduit to the needs of the association across all departments to determine what can be prioritised as a commercial partnership opportunity. Align with fan engagement to ensure commercial targeting is aligned with the actionable insights from fan surveys and focus groups. Produce a weekly pipeline report to track sales progress and support revenue forecasting. Work within the wider commercial and engagement team to support delivery of departmental and organisational strategic objectives. PERSON SPECIFICATION Knowledge/Skills/Behaviours Understanding of sales reporting and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) Ability to produce reports and actionable insights at speed. Ability to analyse and draw conclusions from data and insights platforms (e.g. TV and digital audience reports and surveys) Excellent attention to detail Excellent organisational skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience Experience in sponsorship sales in the sports & entertainment industry Background in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar. ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS The ability to speak Welsh would be advantageous. The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to a basic DBS check and two professional / personal references, to the satisfaction of the FAW. In addition, the FAW may ask to see evidence of right to work in the UK.
