Maintenance Scheduler AberdeenPAYE contract (inside IR35) long termOnshore role is integral to ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance of plant and equipment, supporting operational excellence through robust Work Management Processes. The Maintenance Scheduler collaborates closely with the Maintenance Delivery Team to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are prioritized and completed within defined timelines. This role requires expertise in resource allocation, schedule integration, and proactive communication with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesWork Management Processes:Maintain oversight of corrective maintenance backlog and prioritize tasks for scheduling.Provide structured feedback to leadership regarding Work Management Processes and SAP usage for continuous improvement.Champion adherence to the Work Management Governance Structure, facilitating critical meetings such as Daily Validation, Weekly Measures, and Schedule Review sessions.Scheduling and Resource Coordination:Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor, Team Lead, and Lead Technician to align on maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.Ensure activities are scheduled for timely completion, balancing resource capacities with task demands.Develop integrated schedules combining Preventive (PM) and Corrective (CM) maintenance activities.Arrange and lead daily/weekly scheduling meetings, ensuring prioritization and alignment with asset objectives.Collaboration with Key Stakeholders:Build close working relationships with Maintenance Supervisors, Team Leads, Lead Technicians, and Planners to improve scheduling accuracy and efficiency.Align schedules with operational and shutdown plans, ensuring resource availability and minimizing disruptions.Communicate job schedules effectively to all stakeholders and manage updates using SAP and other scheduling tools.Continuous Improvement and Compliance:Drive improvements in maintenance scheduling practices, leveraging tools such as SAP and Prometheus GWOS.Actively promote health, safety, and environmental compliance in all activities.Uphold company policies and procedures, embodying values and contributing to a positive work environment.Key Competencies and SkillsTechnical Expertise:Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.Proficient in SAP scheduling modules and tools such as Prometheus GWOS; experience with Primavera is advantageous.Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical application in maintenance planning and scheduling.Communication and Collaboration:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.Proven ability to network and interface effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries.Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:Skilled in assessing and prioritizing maintenance tasks based on criticality, resource availability, and operational needs.Professional Development:Committed to continuous learning and development, proactively seeking feedback to enhance performance.QualificationsEducation:HNC/HND in an engineering discipline is desirable (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation preferred).Industry background in a trade discipline is advantageous.Experience:Demonstrable experience in Work Management processes, including SAP and scheduling tools.Knowledge of maintenance KPI dashboards and optimization techniques.Effective in managing multi-disciplinary schedules in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
