Our client a leading international organisation, renowned for its diverse portfolio of businesses are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager.
Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing and overseeing financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring robust financial management while driving efficiency and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly Reporting: Prepare and analyse management accounts for each entity and the group as a whole.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop yearly budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
* Year-End Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.
* Cashflow Management: Prepare and monitor cashflow forecasts to ensure liquidity and financial health.
* Subsidiary Financial Records: Maintain accurate financial records of subsidiaries in QuickBooks.
* Payroll Processing: Potential responsibility for processing monthly payroll.
* Fleet Management: Oversee the management of the company's fleet cars.
* Cost and Revenue Analysis: Perform analytical reviews on packhouse costs, returns, and charge-out rates.
* Rate Card Reviews: Conduct quarterly reviews of rate cards to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
* Cost Drivers Analysis: Evaluate cost drivers on a quarterly basis to identify trends and opportunities for optimisation.
* VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
* Ledger Reviews: Conduct monthly reviews of purchase and sales ledgers for accuracy and completeness.
* Payment Approval: Approve the weekly payment run, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cashflow policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in financial management, preferably within a multi-entity organisation.
* Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* In-depth understanding of VAT, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Experience with payroll and fleet management is an advantage.
