Role Title: Transition Manager
Location: Wiltshire area - 2 to 3 days on site per week
Length: Initial 3 months with strong potential for an extension
Rate: £700 to £800 per day via umbrella company
***Candidates MUST hold Active SC Clearance and MUST have experience within MOD Environments to be considered for the position ***
The Transition Manager is responsible for the planning and co-ordination of resources to ensure that services are effectively transitioned into service operation. Responsible for the co-ordination activities across projects, suppliers and service team, including the development of a Transition Plan - transitioning from the current-state to a new technical offering and organisation structure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Undertake detailed analysis of the customer's requirements and develop a transition strategy and the supporting detailed mobilisation plan
2. As part of the bid process: Lead the development of the program service transition solutionContribute to the development of innovative and competitive mobilisation-plansDevelop Value-for-Money means of meeting specified requirementsDefine the governance frameworks required to deliver successful transition of the service
3. Identify the required resources to deliver the service mobilisation plan
4. Build open and effective relationships with all key project stakeholders Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key external training stakeholders (customers, partners, suppliers).Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR, IT, Commercial, Supply Chain providers, Legal, ESG), partners and supply chain to plan and design the programme of activity required to mobilise and transition the services
5. Proactively manage and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks & issues that may jeopardise successful delivery, escalating where necessary
6. Support and advise all other work streams on the management of mobilisation activity. Prepare regular briefings to be communicated to the project board / Leadership Team regarding progress and highlighting any risk associated with mobilisation and transition
7. Supporting all other aspects of the program solution development and response as required/requested
8. Manage work in line with the Company's corporate governance policies, processes, procedures, including those related to Health and Safety
