You can find out more here. About the role… We’ve an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic, full-time Commercial and Procurement Lead to join our newly formed Procurement team. This role is based at our Head Office in Alfreton, being in the office 3 days a week, and working from home 2 days a week. Our Commercial & Procurement Lead will report to our Technology Business Manager and be responsible for the development and management of the complete commercial and procurement framework at Slimming World. You’ll support all areas of our business, driving strategic procurement while dealing with the day-to-day and tactical management of our commercial portfolio. The role will therefore work closely with the Technology team, and the wider business, to streamline processes and centralise supplier relationship management. Crucially, you’ll bring robust commercial and procurement management experience to help shape the development of our procurement strategy. While creating and embedding stringent procurement processes. You’ll also be a naturally engaging and inspiring leader with a passion for developing others, empowering the Commercial & Procurement Buyer to establish and succeed in their role. Together you’ll create and maintain excellent supplier relationships and be the go-to-team to optimise purchasing processes and opportunities. Other key responsibilities include: identifying key stakeholders across the business, engaging with suppliers, managing tenders and evaluating bids, negotiating for the best buying terms while identifying opportunities and risks managing Slimming World’s portfolio of suppliers and improving current processes, including forecasting demand seeking opportunities to reduce cost within the supply chain while maximising non-financial terms About you… You’ll bring recent experience of supplier and/or contract management in a commercial setting (pre and post-contract award). Including preparing contracts and agreements with a good understanding of legal requirements. We’d really love to hear from you in you’re also passionate about delivering an outstanding service, with excellent communication skills.
