Main duties of the job The trust have a combined bed base comprising of 14 level 3's and 12 level 2 beds. We care for a wide range of adult critically ill medical and surgical emergency and elective cases. The units have an excellent nursing skill mix where you will have the opportunity of working in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. We have a fully comprehensive career pathway offering induction, preceptorship and critical care qualifications as well as advanced clinical skills and leadership opportunities for experienced staff. We have a critical care nurse consultant and clinical nurse educators to support you and there are many opportunities to be involved in service improvement and research projects. The successful candidate would be expected to work across both units located within the trust as service needs require.
