We are currently partnering with a well-established Housing Association operating across Cornwall, who are looking to appoint a Project and Technical Manager on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). This is a full-time role based across Cornwall, with the Head Office located in Redruth. The position offers hybrid working (1-2 days per week from home) and a salary of £42,000. While the ideal candidate will have an HNC/HND or RICS qualification, we welcome applications from those with relevant experience, even if you don’t meet the formal qualifications. Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Supporting the Head of Property Investment and Compliance with ongoing programs of work Leading the procurement and re-procurement process for various maintenance projects, with an annual value of up to £5 million Conducting site visits to ensure works are in line with specifications and compliance standards, and addressing any concerns with site managers and contractors Managing a programme of post-inspections to maintain ongoing oversight of works Keeping up to date with legislation concerning CDM Regulations, Fire Safety, and HHSRS, while providing technical support to colleagues across the organization Required skills, knowledge, and expertise: Experience in Repairs Contract Management Knowledge of the Big 6 Compliance areas Budget forecasting skills Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working arrangement Flexible working hours Working Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible start and finish times available) Please note that recent experience in a similar role is required to apply.
