The Role:
The role of the Business Development Manager is diverse, involving direct sales in sourcing and pitching new partners as well as relationship management. Success in this role requires a balance of both skill sets.
In your role, you'll manage a portfolio of introducing partners, which could include Financial Brokers, Accountants, PSPs, or any partner with access to numerous SMEs. You will be expected to grow your portfolio through acquiring new partners and scaling your current partners through training and relationship management initiatives to match the growth of YouLend.
Requirements
* Build a portfolio of partnerships in a new jurisdiction from a cold start
* Articulate and present performance metrics internally to senior management and C-level executives
* Identify and win partnerships with various referral partners, including brokerages and financial advisors
* Develop a scalable account management strategy and demonstrate proven results
* Articulate a broader new business acquisition strategy with support from the Broker Partnerships lead across DE & Europe
* Engage in marketing activities (webinars, newsletters, thought leadership)
* Manage relationships through existing partners
* Focus on acquiring new business from new or existing partners through initiatives and training
* Create engaging training sessions and present to partners and their teams
* Support the European Business Development Lead with key partners and provide input for efficient processes
* Utilize networking skills through social media and attend relevant events
* Be prepared to travel and organize social events for partners
Essential Skills
* Fluent in German (native level or C2)
* 2+ years of partnership sales/business development experience in financial services or e-commerce
* Proven track record of meeting revenue targets through partnership agreements
* Experience with prospect outreach and building effective targeting strategies
* Able to report performance efficiently and concisely to senior management
* Strong understanding of commercial risk mitigation and management
* Ability to simplify complex solutions for effective communication
* Motivated and comfortable with accountability
* Willing to contribute to a fast-growing company
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
* A networker with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent presentation skills
* Full 360 sales experience

Salary Range: £50,000 - £60,000 + up to 70% Annual performance bonus.
