Provision of high quality and timely Commercial support /advice to the Trust Senior Management. Liaising and leading negotiations with Directors from Private Sector organisations managing multi million pound risks for the organisation and developing new business opportunities. Leading the production of the ICS and Trust Annual Contracts of over £900m including Plan and regular local/regional/national reporting returns and final plans. Working closely with the Business Support team giving advice on all income transactions, forecasts and budgets relating to commissioned contracts coordinating the completion of mandated templates, submissions and returns as required. Supporting the achievement of all Contract activity & financial targets. Provide support to the operational team with various projects and day-to-day tasks where needed. This includes assisting in the implementation of contract-related initiatives, offering guidance on contract management processes, and ensuring that operational tasks align with strategic objectives. The post holder will be accountable for interpreting changes in government policy and assessing the financial impact of these changes on Trust Finances. They will propose and make changes to Trust policy as appropriate, ensuring that policies and procedures are developed and implemented in line with Trust and contractual requirements and obligations.
