Working for Jackson Fire & Security, you will be a highly organised and proactive individual. You will be field-based, lone working, with full-time hours. Working predominantly Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, some flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business.
About the Role:
As an Engineer, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of fire and security equipment and expand your knowledge on different systems. Working with our close-knit team, you will make a difference in your local area.
Your workdays will be dynamic and diverse. One day, you might be installing fire extinguishers, while the next, you will be servicing a large commercial fire or intruder alarm system. Regardless of the task, you will always represent the business and recognize the importance of delivering exceptional customer service.
The role involves lone working, reporting directly to the Service Engineer manager daily. You will tackle exciting challenges and contribute to safety, impacting beyond fixing systems; you will safeguard lives and property.
Person Specification:
* You must have experience in fire or security systems, including installing, maintaining, and fault-finding fire alarms, access control systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and fire extinguishers (further training will be available).
* A Full UK Driving License.
* The ability to communicate with customers professionally, both face-to-face and via telephone.
* A can-do attitude ensuring customer service is a top priority.
* Building strong relationships with all our clients.
* Self-motivated to work alone to the highest standard possible.
* A hardworking attitude.
* Ability to manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to Security Screening in accordance with BS7858.
