Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 9am-3:15pm Monday – Friday
Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £16,423 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments

We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant with knowledge of providing children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) support, to help our pupils improve their learning skills so they can access lessons.
Within this role you will:
1. Provide support on a 1:1 and small group basis
2. Act as the first point of contact for teachers when pupils are struggling with their behaviour
3. Offer advice and guidance to teachers on effective behaviour management approaches

Churchwood Primary Academy
Churchwood Primary Academy is a one-form entry school situated in the picturesque setting of Church Wood in St Leonards, where children aged two to eleven discover the joy of learning through creativity and inspiration.
