IT Support Engineer - 1st and 2nd Line
Location: Guildford, UK
Type: 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35
Start Date: Aiming for 27th January
About the Role:
Fruition are recruiting on behalf of a truly global organisation who are looking to bring in an IT Support Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd line support to teams across Europe and APAC. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining IT operations, supporting remote users across and ensuring the smooth functionality of the hardware, software, and network systems. A great opportunity to collaborate with global teams, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to impactful IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver first and second-line technical support to EMEA/APAC remote users and sales offices.
* Configure, deploy, and maintain IT hardware (laptops, mobile devices, printers, etc.).
* Troubleshoot and update software applications in line with corporate IT policies.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
* Support network connectivity, including VPNs, Wi-Fi, and LAN/WAN setups.
* Collaborate on regional IT projects and initiatives with global IT teams.
* Contribute to IT documentation, knowledge sharing, and user training.
About You:
* 5+ years in IT support, ideally in a multinational, multi-site environment.
* Advanced skills in Windows 10/11, MacOS, and Microsoft 365. Proficiency in Active Directory, group policy, remote support tools, and basic networking (LAN, WAN, VPN).
* CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, ITIL Foundation (preferred).
* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
