The Clinical Support Worker model proposes that the way to achieve effective clinical care is to have one or more multidisciplinary teams working in the hospital, who between them have the full range of skills and competences to meet patient's immediate needs.
The post holder will normally work under the direction of the Sleep Nurse Specialist on a day-to-day basis.
Along with NVQ 2 in a care related subject, the successful applicant will have experience in an acute healthcare setting with the ability to work and communicate efectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
This is a 20 hours per week role and the post holder will primarily work within the Respiratory team at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site and, in exceptional circumstances, occasionally at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford., We are committed to offering an interview to applicants from the Armed Forces community who meet the minimum criteria for the position.
