Pay: Living Wage Foundation Real Living Wage
£12.00 per hour (18 years+) National Minimum Wage (16 and 17 years) £6.40 per hour Plus 12.07% allowance in lieu of holiday entitlement.
Hours: No guaranteed hours but up to 37 hours per week to help cover absences and annual leave.
Based in the Amenity Cleansing Section at the Council’s Salthill Depot in Clitheroe, you will be part of a small team, responsible for ensuring that roads, footpaths, verges and open spaces are kept clean.
Picking up litter, sweeping streets and emptying litter bins, you will utilise equipment consistent with Street Cleansing requirements and ensure that all activities comply with the Council’s Health and Safety policy.
A full driving licence is essential and must include categories B, and B1.
Knowledge of the area is desirable.
