The Opportunity
We have an opportunity available for a Regional Retail Manager to join us, looking after our key flagship Prestige doors in Central London. Leading with a people-first mindset, you will support and inspire the retail teams to drive performance and productivity across the region, ensure a seamless consumer experience, and collaborate with the education teams to deliver training and in-store marketing events.
Your passion for retail excellence, planning effectively, and prioritising business goals is essential to achieving success in an ever-changing omnichannel environment that you will operate within.
What you'll get to do
1. Set and achieve sales and profitability targets for the area, continuously motivating the retail teams to meet assigned sales, productivity, and KPI goals.
2. Build an ambitious regional strategy that is implemented effectively in collaboration with the Head of Retail.
3. Create a seamless consumer experience by delivering a strong cohesive sales and education strategy.
4. Lead best practice for all retail operations and take ownership of their delivery.
5. Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitors, omni-channel initiatives, market trends, demographics, and customer needs and behaviours, ensuring relevant commercial feedback is provided to key stakeholders.
6. Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Commercial, Education, and HR teams.
7. Recruit the best talent, with a clear succession plan for key roles across your area.
8. Build strong relationships with our retail partners.
9. Ensure training guidelines are understood and implemented with all retail store teams (BAs and BCs) through education initiatives focused on brand and product knowledge, sales techniques, and consumer experience expectations.
10. Capture and collate data via our Retail Excellence tool and drive the focus on CRM.
11. Ensure visual merchandising guidelines are implemented effectively across our permanent sites and pop-ups.
We'd love to meet you if you have
1. Management experience in a Retail and/or Multi-Channel and Multi-Site environment (Department store experience is also a plus).
2. Strong people leadership skills with the ability to develop and empower teams and be confident leading on employee relations alongside the HR team while being a brand ambassador of our company values.
3. Proven success in driving profitability and KPIs.
4. Experience of enhancing the consumer experience in a beauty, makeup, or fragrance-led retail environment.
5. Keen interest in digital trends within the Beauty/Retail industry.
6. Confidently able to articulate business performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
7. Demonstrates solid business, commercial acumen with strong analytical skills.
8. Flexible to travel within London but also nationally to support at events and conferences.
