Electrical Engineer Permanent Chemical Petrochemical Oil&Gas Steel Pharma Water What you will enjoy doing In this role, you will provide technical guidance and support on a wide range of equipment, including power distribution, rotating machinery, & a vast array of electrical control equipment You will provide technical leadership and support to operations and projects across the UK & Ireland, helping the business to achieve its strategic goals and objectives Provide electrical engineering leadership to operations, including supporting the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) process and overseeing asset repairs and replacements Furthermore, you will have responsibility for the electrical engineering deliverables on complex multi-discipline projects or managing the delivery of more complex single discipline projects, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, while ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and meets all relevant internal and external standards and legislation Lastly, you will provide technical authority guidance and support and take ownership of several internal standards What makes you great You are qualified to bachelors and master’s level in Electrical engineering or a similar subject (or equivalent experience) Significant working experience circa 7 years, providing Engineering support to operations and/or projects in the process industry, working with electrical systems and equipment In addition, you may be a chartered Engineer with the IET or working towards it however we would consider equivalent experience You have excellent communication & influencing skills, as you will interact with people to understand, influence and support others Lastly, you work to the values aligned to being a safe and inclusive work environment
