We are looking for a Quality Control Analyst to work in the laboratory at a large pharmaceutical company based just outside Huddersfield. You must have experience in analytical testing, possess a precise and accurate analytical testing technique, specifically HPLC, have the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure performance targets are met, have a keen eye for, and good attention to detail and be able to complete documentation in a neat and accurate manner. You will use 'wet chemical' techniques to test products. This role would suit an entry level candidate who wishes to gain 'on the job' experience, further working skills and improve their personal development. Full training will be given, with the full support of the team. Tenure: Ongoing temporary - may lead to permanent employment Hours: Monday to Thursday 13:30 to 22:00 and Friday 13:30 to 17:30 following a training period Pay: £12.95 basic plus shift allowance once fully trained Quality Control Analyst Key Tasks/Objectives Chemical analysis of samples submitted against an approved specification. All samples are tested using a variety of pharmacopoeia and validated in house analytical methods and procedures, including titration, HPLC, UV, IR, gravimetric analysis etc. Completion of documentation in a neat and timely manner. Accurate analytical data entry into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Prompt reporting and investigating of any problems related to testing. A Written Quality Assessment and practical assessment will form part of the interview process.
