Hourly range for Registered Nurses: $40.18-$62.31/hour
* Evening Shift Differential - $3.00/hour
* Night Shift Differential - $4.00/hour

Responsibilities*
* Provide culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care for Primary Care patients including adult medicine, pediatric, and OB/GYN patient populations.
* Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in-person/video visits), and other assigned duties.
* Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
* Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.
* Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues and health care/community services to promote continuity of care.
* Demonstrate critical thinking skills through the nursing process, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to set priorities.
* Demonstrate customer service and interpersonal communication skills, building respectful relationships within and between units and individuals.
* Demonstrate accountability and dependability including a good attendance record with punctuality.
* Demonstrate adaptability to changing needs and priorities based on unit, department, and institutional goals/objectives.
* Provide patient and family education and coaching related to chronic conditions including diabetes, asthma, and coronary artery disease.
* Proficient with typing and electronic health record documentation.
* Manage complex clinical issues utilizing assessment skills, protocols, and evidence-based interventions.
* Willingness to adapt to different populations (e.g., pediatrics, OB/GYN, adult medicine) as patient demands. Orientation and training would be provided for new subspecialties within primary care based on expansion of division.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at the time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.
Required Qualifications*
* Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
* Three (3) years (out of the last 7 years) of RN experience in Adult Internal Medicine (to include Adult Inpatient, Emergency Services, or Ambulatory Care Medicine) AND pediatric experience.
NOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.
Desired Qualifications*
* BSN
* Certification in Ambulatory Nursing
* Ambulatory Phone Triage experience
* Experience working as a RN, providing care to Family Medicine patients.
* Experience working as a RN, providing care to OB patients in the ambulatory care setting.
* Experience working as a RN, providing care to pediatric patients in the ambulatory care setting.
Work Schedule
Hours/Week: 20 hours/week
Shift/Hours/Days: Day Shift; Mon-Fri, includes Saturdays; due to patient needs and volume demands weekends and holidays.
Location: Brighton Health Center with the potential to work in other locations with expansion of division.
Hours may be variable (nontraditional) based on clinic needs.
