This is a 52 week non-sessional post i.e. it will include working during the school holidays.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00
Starting and finishing times are flexible, and flexi time is applicable.

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a dynamic, forward thinking and experienced music professional to lead the Instrumental Music Service in East Lothian Council. The service has recently finished a period of redesign and the successful candidate needs to be able to deliver our service against the priorities identified as well as providing leadership and line management of the Instrumental Music Instructor team. You would also be required to provide performing opportunities for our young people. The service is highly successful and valued by pupils, parents, schools and the wider East Lothian community.
The successful candidate will be creative, with a focus on maximising the resources available to provide a fully inclusive and equitable service across all school communities. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the Instrumental Music Service forward so it is sustainable for the future.
Applicants will be required to deliver some timetabled music instruction.
