Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity in the form of a Finance Analyst (Factory Ops) reporting into the Finance Manager (Factory & Central Ops) on a 12 month contract. You will be responsible for our waste reporting to each site on a weekly & monthly basis, owning end-to-end monthly forecast and Budget processes for factory overheads, liaising with business partners to ensure they understand their costs and drive performance, and assisting ad hoc with any projects or holiday cover within the team.
Core Responsibilities
1. Oversee all weekly and monthly financial processes for factory waste and factory overheads to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of reporting and variance understanding.
2. Own the end-to-end monthly forecasting process for the abovementioned costs, particularly leading with business partners to identify all opportunities, and ensuring risk mitigation tactics are in place.
3. Lead the annual budgeting process for the costs areas, working with business partners to derive plans to meet challenging targets.
4. Support business partners on understanding their costs, their reporting requirements, and cost control within their scope.
5. Refine reports, processes and monthly reporting to help drive quicker and smoother reporting and accurate results - in other words, drive automation!
6. Perform the above tasks for central overheads and direct labour, when called upon (holiday cover).
Who You Are:
* Studying towards or qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA.
* Successful, proven experience in a similar Finance role.
* Strong Excel and/or GSuite skills.
* Microsoft Dynamics and business partnering experience preferred.
* Excellent communicator, with the ability to succinctly summarise complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner for stakeholders of any level / function.
* Drive for development, with guidance from others. You’re self-aware and looking to learn and grow.
* Curious and proactive. We seek to understand problems deeply and are proactive and fast in anticipating future needs (business and customers). Speed and clarity matter.
