Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a broad portfolio of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development work.
* Provide strategic advice on a wide range of commercial property matters, offering tailored, commercially-driven solutions.
* Research and analyse case law and documents to ensure the accuracy and compliance of legal advice.
* Stay updated on changes in property law and market trends to provide clients with the most relevant, up-to-date guidance.
* Lead negotiations and draft key legal documents, including contracts, leases, and other commercial agreements.
* Advise clients on property investments and portfolio management to maximize their potential.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming the primary point of contact for key clients.
* Identify and instruct external experts where necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
* Oversee case management, ensuring all deadlines are met and escalated when appropriate.
* Contribute to the firm’s growth by leveraging professional contacts to generate new business opportunities.
* Monitor and meet personal time recording and billing targets to ensure ongoing efficiency.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, including trainees, paralegals, and support staff, to foster their professional development.
Skills and Experience:
* A qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
* Strong knowledge of property law and a keen understanding of the market.
* Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* A proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
* Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members is desirable.
