Our Client is a leading Barristers Chambers whose Members are instructed in a wide variety of Commercial and Chancery areas, with an emphasis on business, property, corporate and commercial matters. The purpose of the role is to assist the Senior Clerks and the other Clerks Room staff efficiently to manage Chambers and the practices of all its Barristers. No experience is required and full on-the-job training will be provided. Duties include: Assisting the Practice Management Team in the day-to-day running of the Clerks Room, including answering the telephone and fielding calls Entering and processing instructions and briefs received via DC, Post, E-mail, telephone, couriers as and when required but at least on a daily basis Delivery and collection of barristers papers and other associated materials to and from various courts and tribunals Assisting with the copying and making up bundles of cases under the instruction of Members of Chambers directly or via the Senior Clerks and/or fellow Clerks.
