We are looking for a full-time Team Leader to serve in our Poole area. As part of this role, we are able to offer a hybrid working pattern which means you will be required to work from the office or out in the community on some days while also enjoying the comfort of your own home on others. Responsibilities
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring outcome-based care is delivered effectively and overseeing the welfare of clients within your local management area, which will be Poole. To do this you will be responsible for:
1. Supervising and supporting your team by providing guidance, leadership and direction to care assistants to ensure they deliver high-quality care.
2. Monitoring care plans by overseeing the implementation and review of care plans for clients, making sure that the care provided is tailored to their individual needs.
3. Ensure compliance and standards are met by providing care that adheres to legal requirements, regulatory standards and best practices.
4. Communication by acting as a point of contact between care assistants, senior management and other healthcare professionals.
5. Assessing and reviewing your staff’s competencies and awareness while maintaining contractual obligations and CQC Guidance.

Essential Skills
To be successful in this role you will need:
1. Level 2 NVQ or higher, although a level 3 is desirable.
2. Right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this role.
3. Experience of managing a team.
4. 2+ years’ experience of working in care.
5. To be fluent in English.
6. To possess a full UK Driver’s Licence and have access to your own car.
7. A kind and nurturing personality.
8. To be able to remain calm under pressure.
