Operations Manager - Resourcing and D&I

Reporting to: Head of Resourcing and Diversity & Inclusion
Maternity Cover until March 2026
An opportunity has arisen to cover maternity leave until March 2026, working across two business areas: Resourcing/Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion. The Operations Manager role exists to provide support and project management of the strategic initiatives in both these areas including: careers site upgrade and further technology enablers for recruitment marketing, Diversity & Inclusion KPI's and business reporting.
This 12 month period will include a number of change and transformation projects across both areas and this role will be pivotal in ensuring the Head of Resourcing and D&I has sufficient oversight and support in delivering this agenda. There will be further responsibilities supporting the internal recruitment (resourcing) team to deliver its changing and demanding workload. This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, we are open to hearing about different hours/days that will suit your needs.
We are looking for someone who is confident in managing different projects, who is autonomous, organised, and efficient in coordinating different tasks and projects effectively and smoothly. You will have intermediate to advanced skills in Excel/Data Analysis as the role will involve complex data, reporting and presentations. You will also have line manager responsibility therefore previous people management experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Execution: Define scope, objective and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines and milestones.
* Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in recruitment workflows and recommend solutions, implement best practices in recruitment project management and reporting. Monitor performance metrics to optimise recruitment delivery.
* Act as a point of contact for operational enquiries and issues.
* Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow, ensuring updates and changes are communicated efficiently to teams.
* Prepare complex and detailed reports and presentations for a number of stakeholders including Hub Resourcing Meeting and Pack of the Truth.
* Reporting and data analysis on a number of different initiatives and projects.

* Strategic Thinking: Ability to align resourcing and D&I strategies with organisational objectives.
* Management and Leadership: Proven experience in line management and influencing others to support organisational change.
* Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
* Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing data and deriving actionable insights.
* Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
* Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Previous Experience
Previous experience working within recruitment either in-house or agency is preferred however we are open to speaking with candidates from different backgrounds and experiences. It is preferred that you have either experience or interest in D&I initiatives. You will have previous experience managing and executing different projects effectively and efficiently and have managed or mentored staff in a previous role.
