Connect Appointments is seeking a dedicated Advocacy Worker on behalf of a respected organisation committed to empowering individuals and supporting their rights.
This role involves working with individuals who face challenges in decision-making due to various circumstances, ensuring their voices are represented and respected.
The position is based in Fife, with travel required to support clients in a variety of settings, including home visits, hospitals, and care facilities.
Your key responsibilities?
Provide individual advocacy support to clients across Fife
Help clients understand their rights and make informed decisions
Represent and support clients in meetings and appointments
Collaborate with other professionals involved in client care
Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with organisational standardsWhat do you need?
PVG membership (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) - essential
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of empathy
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needsWhat's on offer?
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Annual salary of £22,500
