SENIOR CASHIER £27,500 PA FULL TIME, PERMANENT NOTTINGHAM CITY CENTRE
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a senior cashier to join their client's city centre based team in Nottingham. This role is full time, permanent and is fully office based.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Posting cash daily accurately and in a timely manner
2. Ensure bank reconciliations are carried out and are kept up to date at all times
3. Training of all new starters
4. Investigating all outstanding cash received
5. Investigating differences on bank reconciliations, BACS returns and OOD cheques
6. Month end process
7. Running daily ABTs
8. Central point of contact for cashiering queries
9. Review and clear cashiers inbox
10. Confirm alias acceptance for all payments received in different names
11. Provide support and cover for Manager in Cashiering role
12. Transfers at the bank (all banks)
13. Bank Interest (monthly)
14. Ensuring the daily checklist has been updated and signed
15. Process daily Tax receipts
16. Carry out banking (taking cash/cheques to branch)
17. Daily post to be actioned (cheque/remittances)
18. Ad hoc duties or project work
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Experience with Excel and Word, including intermediate excel skills (v-lookups and Pivot Tables).
2. Minimum of 2 years supervisory Cashier/Sales Ledger experience.
3. Formal qualification: AAT or equivalent an advantage.
