Role: Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant Location: Central London - 5 days initially, then 3 days hybrid Salary: £32-36k study support & benefits This is a rapidly growing Real estate and Property business based in central London. They are now looking to hire a talented Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant to join their in-house department. Role The Finance Assistant for this expanding Real estate and Property business based in central London, will work closely with the Finance Manager in day-to-day accounting & bookkeeping, as well as month-end. They will take on a range of responsibilities including: Reviewing and obtaining approvals for processing invoices. Ensure invoices are allocated correctly on Xero software. Reviewing transactions on Xero and identifying accruals & prepayments. Supporting Finance Manager with monthly management account packs. Preparing journals for review and posting. Managing the receivables and any overdue debts. Assisting and reviewing bank reconciliations. Reviewing and posting employee expense claims. Assisting with audit requests / queries. Profile The ideal profile for this Finance Assistant position based in London, should have the following attributes: 1-2 years of experience in a similar Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant capacity. Strong double entry knowledge and technical experience in AP & AR. Engaging personality with excellent communication skills. Confident with MS Excel. Experience with Xero would be advantageous. Experience working within a small business/property background would be advantageous.
