Other days will be spent working with various environmental teams on their delivery programs and schedules. You'll most likely find yourself either working as a project manager or project director, taking responsibility for the environmental team's delivery for the projects you are working on.
You'll manage key environmental stakeholder interfaces and be responsible for the financial and program performance of your projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate the integration of consents into project delivery.
2. Work closely with clients, attending meetings and providing advice.
3. Collaborate with environmental teams on delivery programs and schedules.
4. Oversee project delivery as a project manager or project director.
5. Manage key environmental stakeholder interfaces.
6. Be responsible for financial and program performance of projects.

Given the nature of the role, we're looking for someone who is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and leads projects from the front. You'll need a strong knowledge of environmental requirements during major development and infrastructure projects in the UK.
To fit in with the team, we'd expect you to have a degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or related subject. An MSc or further professional qualifications would be helpful but not essential.
The role would suit someone who has led the environmental aspects of development projects and worked in the construction sector, particularly post planning consent and during detailed design and construction stages of projects.
If you have strong experience in delivering consents under hybrid bills, DCO, TWA, and TCPA planning regimes, you could be very well suited to the role.
